CHICKEN PILLOWS (AKA CHICKEN PLOOPERS)

Chicken Pillows (aka Chicken Ploopers)





Ingredients
  1. 4 chicken breasts, cooked and shredded
  2. 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  3. 1 T onion powder
  4. 2 T chopped parsley
  5. 4 T milk
  6. 2 packages Pillsbury Crescent Dough
  7. Italian bread crumbs
  8. 2 eggs, beaten
  9. chicken gravy

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Combine shredded chicken, cream cheese, onion powder, parsley and milk.
  3. Spread out crescent dough and press 2 triangles together to create 1 rectangle. Spoon a heaping pile of chicken mixture into center of rectangle and wrap up. Be sure ends overlap. Pinch sides closed to prevent leaking.
  4. Dip both sides of uncooked pillow in egg and then bread crumbs. Place on baking sheet.
  5. Bake for 15 minutes or until slightly golden brown and puffy.
  6. Spoon chicken gravy on top.
