loose chicken recipe
Ingredients
- 2 large chicken breasts, cut into 1 inch chunks (2 lbs)
- 1/3 cup soy sauce
- 1/3 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1/3 cup ketchup
- 1/2 tsp red chili flakes
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup oil for frying
- 1/3 cup cornstarch for breading
- Toss the chicken with the cornstarch and set aside.
- Heat a large skillet over med-hi heat and add oil.
- In a small bowl whisk together the ketchup, soy sauce, vinegar, pepper flakes and sugar. Set aside.
- Fry chicken pieces until done. Pour in the sauce and boil over high heat for 30 seconds stirring to coat chicken pieces. Transfer to a serving dish.
