  3. Orange Candy Melts® Candy ((2 disks make 1 treat))
  4. Vibrant Green Candy Melts® Candy ((2 disks make 1 treat))
  5. Lavender Candy Melts® Candy ((2 disks make 1 treat))
  6. Black Candy Melts® Candy ((12 oz. makes 48 treats))

  • 6-Cavity Doughnut Pan
  • Non-Stick Parchment Paper
  • Candy decorating bags
  • 10 in. x 16 in. Non-Stick Cooling Grid
  • 10 x 14 in. Cake Boards
  • food-safe scissors


INTRUCTIONS

Step 1
Bake doughnuts. Prepare batter following recipe directions. Bake and cool doughnuts following recipe directions.

Step 2
Cover top with candy. Place doughnuts on cooling grid over parchment-covered board. Melt white Candy Melts candy according to package directions. Use melted white candy in cut decorating bag to cover top of doughnuts and dripping down sides. Tap to smooth and remove excess candy. Chill until firm, about 10 to 15 minutes.

Step 3
Decorate doughnuts. Melt red Candy Melts candy according to package directions. Use melted red candy in cut decorating bag to pipe vein lines. Chill until firm, about 3 to 5 minutes.

Step 4
Make irises. Position two Candy Melts candy disks in center of doughnut, flat sides together. Melt black Candy Melts candy according to package directions. Use melted black candy in cut decorating bag to pipe dot pupil. Chill until firm, about 3 to 5 minutes.
